**CAMP HUMPHREYS, South Korea —**The Talon Dining Facility at Camp Humphreys unveiled its new “Fuel for Champions” protein bowl bar Sept. 28 during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Brig. Gen. Robert S. Brown, Eighth Army deputy commanding general for operations, who recognized the role of nutrition in supporting Soldier readiness. Soldiers and DFAC staff joined Brown to mark the launch of the new dining option.

“This is about more than just serving food; it is about combat readiness,” said Staff Sgt. Miguel-Orozco Hernandez, assistant DFAC manager. “We designed this option to help Soldiers make informed nutrition choices and remain ready to execute the mission.”
The protein bowl bar was developed to provide Soldiers with practical, customizable meal options that support individual health, fitness and readiness goals.
The bar is now available daily at the Talon DFAC. Its launch expands the facility’s menu options while supporting nutrition, wellness and readiness for the Camp Humphreys community.
